GeoCom has made available for download many scripts. There are a few programmes we have written, or recommend, that may be purchased, these include:

polycut
This programme will read standard seg-y and a set of vertices and output the seg-y data contained inside or outside the polygon. Currently compiled for Solaris 2.5 and above, may be ported to other operating systems if required. Typically this programme is offered as a bureau service, but some clients, with sufficient hardware, may find it more cost effective to purchase.

RFT PLOT
Written by Seismic Solutions Int, this RFT analysis and database package interactively handles multicriteria RFT (depth/pressure) data

Checkshot Plot/Synthetic Application
Also written by Seismic Solution. Checkshot data are imported from a spreadsheet using a "copy and paste" operation and plotted with calculated interval velocities. Entry of formation tops and markers permits calculation of relevant travel times and these data to be shown on a separate interval velocity plot. A new multiwell capability permits simultaneous plotting of checkshot data from several wells. The checkshot data can be interrogated to determine depth for a given travel time and vice versa. Data can be exported in various ways (eg to a given time interval) and a quality print is available.
Log traces can be imported and displayed for correlation purposes. The application also permits integration and correction of a sonic log and calculation, display and export of a synthetic trace. The synthetic and logs can also plotted to a user determined time scale for comparison with seismic data or inclusion in reports.
The application is PC Windows 95/NT3.51 and later based, with an emphasis on user friendliness
